On Sept. 10 Jacobsen teamed up with United Way and TURN Community Services for Day of Caring, an event that brings together volunteers from businesses and non-profit agencies to perform community service projects.  Jacobsen volunteers helped build a patio at Midvale Day Center, a facility for handicapped adults.

“We turned a plot of dirt into a patio in the course of a day,” said volunteeer Josh Wood, a Construction Group estimator. “I think we all felt proud of the work we accomplished!”
