JCC Leads "Barn-Raising" Efforts for New AGC HQ

Press Release | February 3, 2010

Jacobsen CEO Lonnie Bullard, Executive VP Terry Wright, Project Manager Brad Bohne, Superintendent Matt Silva and many Jacobsen craftsmen rallied with a host of local general contractors and colleagues to complete the new hearquarters for the Associated General Contractors of Utah. The facility opened late last year and was a hot topic of conversation at this year's AGC Convention—in fact, Wright, Bohne and Silva were all publicly recognized for their efforts at the awards ceremony on Jan. 30.

Bullard has likened the project to "a good, old-fashioned barn raising, where members came together and donated whatever they could to the cause."  However, many people credit Bullard himself for getting this collective effort up and running... and completed.

“Lonnie deserves a lot of credit for his role in bringing together the right people to get this project going,” Al Schellenberg, president of Geneva Rock Products and AGC's 2009 chairman of the board, said in a recent article published by Constructor Magazine.
