Riverton Hospital Wins AGC Healthcare Project of the Year
Press Release | February 5, 2010

Riverton Hospital, Intermountain Healthcare's newest medical campus built by Jacobsen, received the award for project of the year in the AGC's $100+ Million Healthcare Facility category. The entire project team was on hand to accept the honor at the AGC's awards breakfast, held during their annual convention in January.
"This was a challenging project, but a great one... we've partnered with Intermountain Healthcare on many projects, and this one was equally enjoyable," said Project Manager Matt Radke.
"At 6:30 a.m. on the day the hospital was set to open, a pregnant woman came to the hospital and she was in labor... even though the hospital was not officially open yet, the staff let her in of course, and she had her baby an hour later," Radke told the packed crowd at the awards ceremony. "That's a perfect illustration of the tremendous asset this facility will be for the residents in the southwest Salt Lake Valley, and our entire team was grateful to be a part of it."
