PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Institute is a world-class cancer research facility with laboratory, vivarium and office space housed in a six-story structure. One of the building’s most unique aspects is its "T" shape—composed of two different structures connected by an expansion joint. Laboratories were constructed with an “open space” atmosphere, providing the opportunity for more communication between researchers. Flexible component structuring enables important conduits for power, air and toxic chemical evacuation.
