PROJECT DESCRIPTION
When the Walker Center opened in 1912, it was the tallest building between St. Louis and the West Coast. The 16-floor skyscraper featured every amenity of its day—a two-story lobby, marble staircases and four gearless, traction elevators.
However, as times changed, there came the need to modernize the Center's amenities—which Jacobsen has done over time on several different projects, including an award-winning restoration of its parking structure.
