PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Gateway Parking project is a three- and four-level underground structure located underneath Main Street at South Temple. The project required microsilica DCI high performance concrete. Construction required the shoring and underpinning of the existing malls and digging below their foundations.
Jacobsen had to work an extremely tight site — in some places only 4’0” separates the parking structure from other buildings. More than 350 sequenced activities had to take place in the fast-tracked schedule.
