PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Jacobsen renovated the existing bookstore at BYU, primarily to update its telecommunications system. The work involved demolishing the interior finishes of all three levels; fireproofing the existing structure; installing new finishes, including ceiling tile, lights, floor pavers and carpet; moving existing interior walls; and installing an elevator.

The project was phased to accommodate continued operation of the building; it was completed more than two months early.
