PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The seven-story office tower is solely occupied by Fidelity Investments and houses 1200 employees.
Completion of the Primary Telephone Room and Floor Telephone Rooms were critical elements in addressing Fidelity's disaster mitigation strategy. The rooms were completed several months ahead of the rest of the building to allow for adequate systems commissioning.
"Sideplate" technology — a proprietary structural system — was incorporated into the structural design to prevent progressive collapse in a seismic event.
The building exterior has 90,000 square feet of glass, enough to cover one and a half football fields.
