Jacobsen employees recently partnered with United Way of Salt Lake to devote a Day of Caring to the students and staff at East Midvale Elementary in Midvale, Utah. Jacobsen volunteers refurbished the school’s Gaga Ball pits, beautified its community garden, re-stocked emergency kits, installed a kiosk information center, and painted a beautiful mountain mural at the front entrance. For many years, students entering the school will be greeted with 18 versions of the word “Welcome” in languages from around the world — a celebration of Midvale’s rich diversity.
