As young patients walk the halls of Primary Children’s Hospital, they’re likely to notice the friendly little face of Boo Boo the Bear peeking around corners, placed on the infection control barriers that separate construction areas from the operational hospital. This tradition of Boo Boo has quickly become beloved by Jacobsen employees and patients alike.
Each version of the Boo Boo decal represents one of our active work trades in the hospital, including carpenters, electricians, painters, plumbers and more. Each decal has a written description letting the children know what that trade does and giving them an idea of the work we’re doing behind the barriers.
