PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The six-level building houses School of Medicine research programs, including pathology and biochemistry.
It includes labs and conference areas with the latest technology and equipment.
Because the building is used strictly for research, vibration within the building is an important consideration. The vibration requirement is limited to 1,000 micro inches per second. To meet this requirement most cost effectively, a poured-in-place reinforced concrete system was used.
