Jacobsen employees recently partnered with United Way of Salt Lake to devote a Day of Caring to the students and staff at East Midvale Elementary in Midvale, Utah. Jacobsen volunteers refurbished the school’s Gaga Ball pits, beautified its community garden, re-stocked emergency kits, installed a kiosk information center, and painted a beautiful mountain mural at the front entrance. For many years, students will entering the school will be greeted with 18 versions of the word “Welcome” in languages from around the world — a celebration of Midvale’s rich diversity.
